My name is Peter Kwok and I entered the Education Industry in 1999 when I graduated from MIT with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I got a full time job in Mechanical Engineering after graduation, and almost immediately, I started tutoring students on weekends in Mathematics.
In 2004, I started an Academic Program in Boston with a fellow English Teacher. Over time, the Program continued to grow and we had over 100 students each term. Between 2004 and 2015, we collectively helped over 1,000 students gain more confidence in Mathematics and English in their academic coursework. During this time, I developed really good relationships with instructors at the Academic Program.
In addition to my Saturday Academic Program, I also teach evening Engineering Courses at Northeastern University.
In 2015, I applied to Harvard's Graduate School of Education and got accepted. I graduated in 2017, and for several years, refocused a new curriculum to be launched and worked with one of my former star instructors Larry Cheung
to launch a new Middle School Program at Tigerway.
In 2020, we now work closely together along with my Assistant Coach Liza London to create a world-class middle school program.
I look forward to serving you and your family.
-Peter Kwok
Fun Fact: My first student was Nielson Phu (The Author of the College Panda)
